30 Oct 2018 – Throughout the eastern half of the country, the premature arrival of winter has disrupted traffic and habits.

A landscape worthy of a month of January in this village of Ardeche. In Lachamp-Raphael at 1,300 meters altitude, fell 50 cm (20 inches) of snow. For several hours, snowblowers have been opening the roads one by one and residents are trying to make their way to their door.

The snow shovel in October, nobody expected. On the night of Monday, October 29, the arrival of snow also surprised the inhabitants of Saint-Etienne (Loire). In the city center, a thick coat of white and many homes without electricity in the area. Some 60,000 remained without power as of Tuesday.

Further north, near Charleville-Mézières (Ardennes), the snow wreaked havoc on the roads, especially for trucks.

You can say that again. Their president Macron is a complete idiot and a firm believer in global warming, hosting the Paris Agreement.
