Coldest Nov 22 EVER for both Toronto and Ottawa

The temperature in both Ottawa,  Canada’s capital, and Toronto, capital of the province of Ontario, plunged to record lows today.

22 Nov 2018 – The temperature dropped to -13 C this morning in Toronto, breaking the previous record of -12.4 C set on this date in 1989, says reader Brent Chapman. Add in the windchill and it felt like -20 C at one point.

And Ottawa set new record lows for both Nov 21 and Nov 22, says reader Richard A Bonato.

According to the Canadian Fed Gov’t Environment Canada, Ottawa hit – 17.9 C today, breaking the previous record of -14.4 C set in 1972.

Yesterday, Nov 21, the temperature in Ottawa fell to -16.2 C, breaking the old record of -15.6 C set on Nov 21 1987. The records go back to 1938.

Today is Toronto’s coldest Nov. 22 ever
