It is early January, and the western US is buried in deep snow already, with lots more on the way.

Climate experts say declining snow cover is a “notable finding.”

It is pouring here in North Phoenix, and we have had another inch of permanent drought so far out of this storm. In the last three months we have had more than our average annual rainfall.
