Blizzard conditions in SE Minnesota. I-35 and I-90 closed.
Three people were rescued from impassable roads by the Minnesota National Guard Saturday night after Governor Tim Walz declared a peacetime state of emergency.
The Minnesota National Guard will also conduct search and rescue missions for people stranded in their vehicles.
Blizzard conditions are expected to continue through Sunday in a large part of the state.
