Freeze Warning for Denver and the eastern plains early Friday. Temps to drop to the upper 20s F to low 30s F.
8 May 2019 – Snow was falling heavily in the mountains and the Denver area was expecting snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches on grassy areas and 3 to 6 inches over the southern and western suburbs above 6,000 feet.
Winter Storm Warnings were in effect for the mountains above 10,000 feet until 6 PM Thursday, with 8 to 16 inches of (20-40 cm) snow forecast for the mountains.
Chilly and unsettled weather will stick around through Friday with temperatures well below normal for early May.
