Snowfall warning in effect for:
- Jasper Nat. Park near and south of Sunwapta Falls
- Jasper Nat. Park near Jasper
- Jasper Nat. Park near Pocahontas
Snowfall with total amounts of about 10 cm is expected.
A low over central Alberta will wrap moisture over the mountain parks today. This system is currently snowing over higher elevations and is expected to give up to 10 cm of snow for the higher terrain including sections of the Icefields Parkway Highway 93.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
