Record low or extreme temperatures in Oruro have triggered an epidemic of Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI), according to health authorities.
25 Jun 2019 – “In the province of Sajama we recorded 17 degrees below zero in the same way in Sabaya and Todos Santos, which was registered between 15 at 16 degrees below zero, “said Hugo Mollinedo, regional manager of the National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology. (I assume he means -17C, which would be 1.4F.)
Mollinedo explained that this temperature level will be extended until July.
