Record cold continued on Friday

Remnants of the unusually strong cold front, by late July standards, that pushed through much of the Southern states beginning on Tuesday were still affecting parts of the south on Friday.

26 July 2019 – Little Rock, Arkansas, set or tied a daily record low for the third consecutive day early Friday morning. The morning temperature of 63 F broke the previous record of 64 F from 2000.
