Record cold across Vermont and New York

Breaking records more than a century old.  Some locations looking to set new records three days in a row.

The National Weather Service in Burlington, Vermont posted to its Twitter about the records expected to be broken in the days to come from Burlington to Montpelier to Massena to Platsburgh to Saranac Lake.

Record lows could be set in Burlington three days in a row.

The blast of cold air continues to move to the east, meaning bitter cold will continue for the northeastern states.
