High lands in Santa Catarina reached 1.3ºC with frost on December 7, 2019

Serra Catarinense obtained new frost during the dawn of this Saturday, December 7, 2019, when the thermometers of Keiser Station dropped to 1.3ºC in Bom Jardim da Serra, the lowest temperature ever recorded so far this cold December.

This was the third frost in December in S. Joaquim,Santa Catarina, already adding 82 days of frost in 2019. At least 26 municipalities (actually a lot more) recorded lows below 10°C, something quite unusual in December!
