Besides climate change research, Professor Clark, pictured at right during his testimony to the Canadian Senate Committee, has recently made some important discoveries about safe sites for nuclear waste disposal, a topic that comes up early in the interview with Mr. Harris. As Director of the Environmental Science program at the U of O, his specialties include isotope hydrogeology and paleoclimatology. Professor Clark has a BSc, MSc from the University of Waterloo and a PhD from the University of Paris.
