We listened to a teenager and banned straws. Now we’re all forced to use inferior paper straws that cause greater pollution than plastic straws.
The liberals want to listen to a teenager and ban CO2-producing activities. So we’re wholesale cutting down forests to produce wood chips to ship to England so they can claim they’re using ‘renewable’ energy (never mind that it required fossil fuels to cut down the trees, to chip them and to ship them), and we’re ruining the landscape with solar panels and windmills, which kill birds and bats, and which eventually will age, leaving behind a toxic mess that will necessitate the use of even more fossil fuels to clean up.
And we listened to a teenager and caused the greatest economic crash in the history of mankind, which will lead to as-yet untold suffering and death.

My question… why are we listening to so-called “experts”, when those “experts” are using studies created by high school students and people far outside their scope of competence, as means of furthering the ulterior motives of those so-called “experts”? Why do we fall for this again and again? This needs to stop, those who’ve created this financial havoc must be held to account. How many lifetimes of imprisonment is fitting punishment for crashing an entire economy in attempting to get your whackadoodle leftist agenda fulfilled?
Keep in mind, folks, that even as bad as this shutdown has been, the climate crazies say it doesn’t go far enough, they demand we lockdown even more, and that we do so for an indeterminate number of decades into the future.
It’s time to stand up to the crazies. They shouldn’t be setting public policy, they should be in mental institutions. If we allow them to continue, what new and horrifically-escalated new menace will they visit upon us next?

Here is a direct quote form that paper: “Our network represented a stylized small US town and took advantage of the diverse backgrounds of the authors (1 of whom is a teenager).” (Italics added.)
