City of Seattle accused of discrimination after for closing a park ahead of a planned prayer rally. This despite left-wing protests that continued across the city.
Oh, well, maybe we’ll allow it if you call it a “worship protest.” You gotta put the word ‘protest’ in there.
After the city of Seattle denied a park venue for a Labor Day concert, the showdown ended with a two-hour “worship protest” being held one block north of the park.
Sean Feucht (pronounced Foyt), a California musician known for a series of open-air Christian worship concerts around the country, has been promoting revival instead of riots.
Cities allowing rioting, burning and pillaging, but targeting Christians
As to the park closure, it’s the height of hypocrisy, says Feucht. Cities are allowing rioting, burning and pillaging, and yet they’re targeting Christians.
Washington’s governor Jay Inslee has allowed outdoor worship gatherings of up to 200 people as long as masks are worn even while singing, people stay 6 feet apart, and there are no choirs or musical performances involving more than two people.
Feucht’s concerts, which have drawn thousands of spectators and worshippers at 21 gatherings around the country, ignore all those guidelines.
The worship protests, held in defiance of COVID-19 regulations, continued in Colorado, Minneapolis, and Kenosha, Wisconsin.
“People are rising up, says Feucht. “There’s a backlash growing. Twelve thousand people joined us at the capitol in Sacramento.”
Below is a video of his worship protest in Sacramento.
Feucht is a volunteer worship leader at Bethel Church in Redding, California.
Whatever happened to religious freedom? Whatever happened to separation of Church and State?
