Pakistan expected to experience a prolonged harsh winter

“Anticipating freezing weather, earthquakes and famine.”

________

“Karachi falls cold to the harshest November morning,” reads the title.

“Hitting 14.5 degree Celsuis (58.1F), Karachi witnessed the coldest morning for November today.” (I don’t know if this means the harshest for this particular month of November we are now in, or if it means the coldest November day ever. I suspect it is the former.)

“Pakistan is expected to experience a prolonged harsh winter,” the article continues. “The year would be cold due to La Nina, the complex weather pattern formed with the dramatic cooling of ocean surface temperatures in the central and equatorial Pacific Ocean. Adding to this, solar minimum is also expected this winter, anticipating freezing weather, earthquakes and famine.”
