Conceal Carry in Style (ft. Alexo Athletica’s Amy Robbins)

“I was like, wait a minute, I don’t think that women that are like me need to sacrifice their everyday lifestyle to get into the shooting sports. We should be able to adapt the shooting in this like self-defense lifestyle around what we’re already currently wearing. And there was nothing on the market… so when I wanted to start running more with a self-defense tool, especially my firearm. there was nothing that allowed me to do that and do it in a fashionable way. And so that is what led me to create and start Alex0 in the first place.” — Amy Robbins, creator and founder of Alexo Athletica

In Episode 177 of District of Conservation, Gabriella interviews Amy Robbins of Alexo Athletica.

Alexo simply means to “defend and to help”.  While big name athletic companies  shy away from promoting one’s  right to defend themself and have never built in the ability to do so, Alexo will never back down from supporting a woman’s right to choose how she defends herself while striving to bring the best in fashionable, functional active carrywear to the market. Alexo is broadening the definition of the word “carry” to encompass whatever the woman desires to carry in order to feel safe and be able to CARRY WITH CONFIDENCE.
