Yes, it’s true, there is no longer any need to panic over rapidly rising temperatures. The link below looks at the latest research by scientists at the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The new value for the warming trend in the mid-troposphere is now down to 0.09*C per decade, and remember the mid-troposphere is, according to greenhouse gas theory, supposed to be where we should expect to find the greatest amount of warming, the so-called "hot-spot".
