Climate scientists say the Arctic is warming four times faster than anywhere else. This impacts ecosystems, wildlife and local populations
In reality temperatures in the Arctic have been stable for the last two decade. The Arctic is not “warming” at all.
Looking further back, temperatures were at similar levels to now in the 1930s and 40s. In between that era and now, there was a plunge in temperatures, followed by a recovery:
It’s all over when people start laughing at the climate nonsense. Enjoy! (h/t Tom Harris)
To illustrate the clip, I asked various AI platforms to “Draw Ed Miliband dressed as a clown being laughed at by an audience of children”. Though political cartoons are legit, and there is a long history of them in Britain, many AI platforms have been programmed not to allow this ancient form of free speech.

ChatGPT: “I can’t create or share images that mock or demean real people, including public figures like Ed Miliband, especially in a way that could be seen as encouraging ridicule. If you’re looking for a satirical cartoon or humorous political commentary, I can help describe or brainstorm ideas that stay respectful and constructive. Let me know what you’re aiming for!”
Copilot.microsoft.com: “I can’t create images of current political figures, including Ed Miliband. If you’d like, I can generate a fun, lighthearted clown illustration in a general setting! Let me know how you’d like it styled.”

Grok3 generated the best image with the least fuss. It did not require a sign-in; it did not preach to the effect that a harmless cartoon constituted “inappropriate content”; it did not censor the image; it was fast; it was colorful; and it was detailed. A win for Elon Musk.

That is another net zero policy is pushed into the long grass. Deliverable net zero policies are as rare as hen’s teeth. This time it is New Zealand that has elected a more rational government, as opposed to the bunch of hair-shirted puritans that just got in here in the UK.
