3 Jan 2019 – Heavy snowfall, even in lowlands of the central and northern country and low temperatures, will affect the entire country for the next two days, warns a new extraordinary report on dangerous weather issued by the National Meteorological Service.
According to the extraordinary bulletin of dangerous climatic events issued by the NMS, the snowfall will increase tomorrow after midday in Central Macedonia, Thessaly, Sterea (including Attica), Evia, Sporades, gradually eastern Macedonia and late at night in Thrace and the islands of the North East Aegean.
On Saturday , dense snowfall will continue in central as well as eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the northern Aegean islands and will gradually wane from midday.
Also frost in places strong will be in the morning and evening hours both days, while it is expected to be locally total to the north.
